Rattlesnake venom could treat diseases

French scientists are studying the potential of rattlesnake venom as a treatment for several diseases.
Just like bee stings have been shown to help individuals who suffer from Multiple Sclerosis, scientists are now researching the potential benefits of rattlesnake venom in treating cancer, Alzheimer's, strokes and heart disease.
Four Western diamondback rattlesnakes from Albuquerque's zoo are helping with the first clinical trials of venom as a cancer treatment in humans.
