Police officer reports UFO sighting

Air traffic control was contacted about the incident but they said they hadn't picked up anything that coincided with the sighting. "I thought at first that it was a plane," said the officer. "Then I realised, as it was only a single light, this was not likely to be the case. Besides, I had never seen an aircraft in that part of the sky."

"The officer had been off-duty on the night in question and he did not report anything officially to the control room," stated West Midlands police when queried about the incident.
