A bizarre spectacle greeted pedestrians in Arizona this week when a large Halloween display got loose.
The massive inflatable jack-o'-lantern, which weighed upwards of 350 pounds, broke loose from a Halloween display in the city of Peoria following a bout of stormy weather.

Motorists and pedestrians looked on in amazement as the huge pumpkin rolled down the street, crashing in to traffic lights and sending people running for cover before finally coming to a stop.

Patrick Sparkes, who works for the production company responsible for the display, later revealed that he'd spent almost an hour driving around the area in an effort to recover the vegetable.

"I was so shocked to see that it was bouncing like a basketball all the way down the road," he said.
