Mike Pence optical illusion surfaces online

Eagle-eyed Internet users were soon quick to point out that Pence's daughter, who is sitting beside him on the right of the image, has no reflection at all in the mirror on the wall behind the table.The anomaly has since captured the imagination of other Twitter users who have been hotly debating what is happening in the photograph and why her reflection appears to be missing.

As it turns out however the phenomenon is actually little more than an optical illusion.

Pence is taller than his daughter and she is sitting behind him so in the mirror, based on her position, she is simply hidden from view.
