It's not uncommon to see recognizable shapes in the clouds. Image Credit: YouTube / New York Post
The footage was recently shared online after being filmed over Handan, China back in August.
From faces in the side of mountains to Beaker from The Muppets on the surface of Mars, pareidolia - the brain's innate ability to perceive meaningful shapes in abstract patterns - can crop up where you least expect it and take on many strange and unusual forms.
Perhaps the most common form of pareidolia manifests itself when we look up at the sky and see cloud formations that happen to resemble recognizable shapes.
This latest example, which was recently picked up on camera over Handan, China, so closely resembles one particular thing that most people seeing it will likely interpret it in much the same way.
As the camera zooms in on the sky, a white figure can be seen walking on top of one of the clouds.
In reality, of course, the 'person' is a separate cloud moving independently in the background.
Nonetheless, it's quite an impressive and unusual optical illusion.
