Portuguese 'Gollum' footage surfaces online

What is this strange creature ? Image Credit: YouTube / Alien Sightings
An unconvincing video of a bipedal creature in the desert has been doing the rounds online this week.
Shambling along on two legs and with its abnormally long limbs dangling at either side, this bizarre specimen, which seems to have a head that is woefully disproportional to the rest of its body, was allegedly caught on camera as it wandered slowly across the desert floor somewhere in Portugal.

First posted online around a month ago, the video, which is almost certainly a hoax, has been picked up by several news sites and has so far racked up over 200,000 views on social media.

Exactly who created it and why however remains, for the moment at least, a bit of a mystery.

LOL Sure ya would. Ever see a bear in the wild? Instinct takes over amigo. Ya never know how you're going to react in that fight or flight state of being.  I do agree that the video loooks like some lame CGI

So the person shooting the footage stops the video after it goes behind a bush instead of trying to get more of it. Imagine that.

I'm not impressed. It's a hoax. Familiar looking country though, this could be the American Southwest, where I live(New Mexico).

The thumbnail alone told me all I needed. Twas so obviously fake, I cringed while watching it. But, it won't stop the crypto-freaks from holding the flag for whatever mythological creature they believe it is.

My Uncle Jack is Italian, nobody asks about the cars and his places with swimming pools and my Aunties hate him but us kids thought he was the best! It's not Portugal.  It's on the Navajo Nation either here in New Mexico or Arizona.  The well and truck are both very American.  The "creature" is obviously faked.  So stupid.
