CIA documented UFOs over India and Nepal

The CIA has been looking in to UFOs for years. Image Credit: CC BY 2.0 Jason Rogers The documents, which were published on the CIA's website earlier this month, include an "information report" disseminated on April 11, 1968 concerning multiple UFO sightings.

One of these occurred over Nepal on the evening of February 19 of the same year. The object was observed over the Taplejung district on the eastern border with China at around 9:00pm.

A second UFO was also spotted over the Kaski region in western Nepal around five weeks later."A blazing object, flashing intermittently accompanied by big thunder sound disintegrated over Kaski region," the report read. "A huge metallic disc-shaped object with a six-foot base and four feet in height was found in a crater at Baltichaur (sic), five miles NE of Pokhara. Portions of a similar object were found at Talakot and Turepasal."

The document also mentions other UFO sightings, including two over Ladakh, India. The first, which was seen on March 5th, was described as a "white light" accompanied by two blasting sounds.

The second, which was spotted on March 25th, was "rocket-like" and left a "white-yellow-white trail."
