Officials at the All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office are looking into new ways to track and manage cases.
According to reports, the Pentagon has invited contractors to present proposals for a brand new and secure software-based platform to manage and track the increasing number of UFO reports being submitted by pilots, military personnel and other confidential sources.

The proposed custom case management system would be set up on the same intranet that hosts the Defense Department's Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS).

Sources suggest that this is in fact the first time that AARO has solicited for a system of this nature since the department was founded back in 2022.

The move indicates that the UFO office is having to deal with an increasing number of UFO reports and that existing systems for storing and managing them are insufficient.

"A case management system, or CMS, will assist AARO in tracking the status of the UAP reports in its holdings and in meeting its records management requirements, particularly as the office works to launch a public UAP reporting mechanism," an official told DefenseScoop.
"AARO currently uses a variety of tools for its mission management needs and seeks to integrate them."

It is clear that security will be an important factor in setting up the new system, as will the implementation of functionality sufficient to enable investigators to access and manage the reports.

While the move doesn't tell us too much about the nature of the reports being managed, it does indicate that AARO's workload is increasing and that it has no plans to wind down its operations.

Perhaps one day, we may even get the chance to check out these reports for ourselves.
