The inventor of the impressive flying suit demonstrated his creation at this week's TED conference.
Former marine Richard Browning raised eyebrows back at the beginning of the month when he revealed 'Daedalus' - a futuristic suit not dissimilar to Tony Stark's comic book "Iron Man" armor.

Since then, interest in his invention has gone from strength to strength with even a member of the UK military allegedly expressing a desire to adapt the suit for use on the battlefield.

Browning's most recent appearance was at a TED event in Vancouver where he gave a talk about his invention to a crowd of over 2,000 guests before donning the suit for a quick demonstration.

"The reaction was brilliant," he said. "It left a big impression on people, I think."
