Video footage of peculiar 'lizard' goes viral

What is this thing ? Image Credit: TikTok / @stinkeyescrappy The footage, which was uploaded to video-sharing platform TikTok by user @stinkeyescrappy, was reportedly filmed in Boulder City, Nevada and shows a very peculiar creature.

Resembling a lizard but with anomalously disproportional limbs and brown textured skin, the animal can be seen sitting motionless on some rocks while the camera moves in for a closer look.

"Hopefully someone can help me figure out what this little creature is," the uploader wrote.The footage quickly attracted a great number of comments, with users of the platform speculating over whether the 'lizard' was a real animal or of it was simply a toy or model.

It has also been suggested that it could be the remains of a lizard that has dried up in the sun.
