A couple in Scotland last week spotted something very unusual flying over the city's skyline.
When you hear the word 'UFO', it's easy to jump straight to the idea of a flying metallic disc or a bright orb of light in the sky, however in reality it can be any flying object that is, by definition, unidentified.
This recent example of a rather more unusual shape of UFO comes courtesy of Lynsey Currie and her boyfriend who live in the Maryhill area of Glasgow, Scotland.
Capturing the view from outside their apartment window, they managed to film a very strange object that was "flying across the sky going from the northwest of Glasgow towards the southwest."
The object has no obvious means of propulsion and is a very odd shape that almost looks like a figure.
Some social media users have speculated that it could be someone flying a jetpack, while others maintain that the most likely explanation is that it is some sort of escaped balloon.
There are also some who believe that the footage represents evidence of alien visitors.
Whatever the case, it's certainly an intriguing sighting.
@jethrofloyd i've heard green Aliens did infact record the whole climate summit by accsident instead of probing Boso ! They were **** faced on whiskey and acutes cider.
Just to add a little context. The sighting is over Glasgow during COP26. Due to the high security, all Drones and Hot Air Balloons are banned over the entire Glasgow area from Oct 31 - Nov 13. So anyone thinking that it is a drone or a balloon, it is highly unlikely due to the heavily restricted airspace.
Someone mentioned restricted airspace over Glasgow. Could have floating in from across the English Channel. Mylar balloons can float for hundreds of miles.
