Caroline Humphries has lived in one of England's most haunted houses for the better part of five decades.
Originally built all the way back in 1145 AD, the unsettling abode - which is known as the Ancient Ramm Inn - is situated in Wotton-under-Edge in the Stroud district of Gloucestershire, England.
Having lived there almost all her life, Humphries certainly has a few stories to tell about it.
Her father, who bought the building in the 1960s, had reportedly discovered a number of strange artefacts in its walls including a pile of bones that were thought to be human, as well as a number of curious daggers which experts have so far been unable to date.
In addition, a 500-year-old mummified cat was found bricked up in one of the walls - something that the building's previous occupants had put there to help ward off witches and evil spirits.
The house is even thought to be built on the site of an ancient pagan burial ground.
According to the deeds of the house, there could even be hidden cellars underneath the ground floor that have yet to be uncovered. If true, then who knows what could be waiting down there.
When Humphries' parents first bought the property, their intention was to turn it into a bed and breakfast, but nowadays it serves as a popular destination for paranormal investigators.
No doubt there is still much to be discovered about the building and its long, enigmatic past.
