Man has kept his arm raised for over 10 years in honor of his god

Image: AI-generated (Midjourney) Mahant Radheypuri Juna Akhara, who hails from Allahabad, seemingly became obsessed with the idea of keeping his arm raised in the air because he wanted to do something to honor his god.

Hoping that it would help him get noticed, he raised his arm high above his head one day and then just left it there.

Even today - ten years on - he continues to keep his arm raised above his head, even while sleeping, and has now held it there for so long that it is basically locked in that position and is totally numb.

When asked how long he anticipates leaving it like that, he hinted that it would be for the rest of his life.At this point, if his arm really is locked in that position, he might not have much of a choice in the matter unless he seeks medical intervention.

Incredibly, however, Mahant has a long way to go to beat the previous record holder for this type of stunt - a man named mar Bharati who reportedly held his arm above his head for over 38 years.
