Man claims to have found his daughter 'playing with Bigfoot' in the woods

Who or what did the girl encounter ? Image Credit: Midjourney The incident, which was recounted by a man who gave his name only as Mark, reportedly occurred in the woods near a quiet town in northern California back on August 2nd, 2022.

Mark, his wife and his young daughter had picked up some produce from a local farmer's market before heading to the forest where they settled down for a picnic among the flowers.

As they prepared the lunch, his daughter ran off to play among the trees nearby.

About 15 minutes later, a loud scream prompted both parents to rush over to find out if she was all right.

What they saw at that moment will likely stick with them for the rest of their lives.

There, sitting on a tree log, was the young girl and sitting next to her was a tall, hairy creature."She seemed completely relaxed and content but next to her was an enormous hairy creature that was easily seven or eight feet tall even while crouching," Mark recalled.

The beast, which was bipedal and covered in brown hair, seemed to be happily playing with the little girl and she did not seem to fear her unusual playmate, nor did she try to run away.

"It's almost like the pair were playing a game of copycat, both tilting their heads and scratching their cheeks in turn," said Mark. "[It made] low rumbling grunts as if laughing."

Eventually, the little girl noticed her parents nearby and ran over to join them.

Shortly afterward, the 'Bigfoot' stood up, stared at them for a time, then retreated into the woods.

Despite visiting the same area multiple times, neither Mark or his wife ever saw the creature again.
