The group will be calling for the release of the UK's UFO files and other information relating to the phenomenon.
According to the press release, the UK Disclosure Group - which will be headed up by filmmaker and UFO disclosure advocate Mark Christopher Lee - will officially launch on Monday, May 19th at the Karma Sanctum Hotel in Soho, London.
"We are not dealing with science fiction - we are dealing with real events, real sightings, and real security implications," said Lee.
"The UK is falling behind the US when it comes to open dialogue and transparency."
"We must create an independent, safe platform for whistleblowers in the UK to share what they know - without fear of ridicule or reprisal."
Remarkably, the group is hoping to recruit singer and UFO enthusiast Robbie William to be its figurehead.
"Robbie has long been a champion for taking the UFO topic seriously," said Lee.
"He has both the courage and the cultural influence to help shift the conversation from the margins into the mainstream. We believe his involvement could be truly historic."
The group's debut will also feature a screening of Lee's popular documentary - King of UFOs - which looks into the royal family's connection to the phenomenon.
