A strange piece of technology covered in hair-like fibers was recently found on a farm in South America.
Described as a carbon fiber cylinder measuring 1.7 meters in length and 1.2 meters in diameter, the anomalous object was discovered near Puerto Tirol in the north of Argentina.

A close-up analysis revealed that there was a valve system at one end and a hole in the other, while the whole thing seemed to be covered in some type of hair-like fibers.

According to reports, the object had fallen from the sky at around 6:30pm on September 25th.

When the landowner made the discovery, he called the authorities, resulting in a large police presence and the attendance of the local fire brigade which was tasked with determining whether or not the object contained any hazardous or combustable materials.
Fortunately, it was found to be inert, but the mystery of what it was and where it had come from endured.

Perhaps the most likely explanation is that it had fallen from orbit and may have been part of a SpaceX launch.

You can check out some photographs of the object below.
