An extremely strange story out of Argentina this week pertains to an alleged attack by a goblin-like creature.
In what is surely a contender for bizarrest story of the year, a young farm worker - whose name has been withheld for privacy reasons - had reportedly been out on the fields somewhere in Argentina on August 31st when he was attacked by a mysterious assailant who "fell from above out of nowhere".
The entity, which initially took humanoid form before apparently turning invisible, reportedly dragged him violently from his tractor for several meters, leaving him bruised and unconscious.
Later, when he came round, he told one of his fellow workers what had happened and showed off a number of nasty wounds that he claimed to have sustained during the attack.
It wasn't long before the Argentinian media had picked up on the story, with news reports referring to the mystery creature as a 'goblin', 'elf' or 'ucumar' - a name for an ape-like creature of local legend.
The incident has also become associated with a piece of video footage that has been doing the rounds on social media which shows a small goblin-like creature running around next to a vehicle.
It remains unclear if the video is supposed to show the same creature that attacked the farm worker.
Whatever the case, the story seems to have gained quite a lot of attention in Argentina, with some people claiming that the whole thing is the real deal and others dismissing it as a hoax.
You can check out the footage of the alleged 'goblin' below.
The video of something way in the background isn't real impressive. I'm more interested in the supposed victim's story. It's a matter of if you believe him or not.
Yes. As far as the video, they might as well show a person with a Loch Ness monster sock puppet on their hand and call it proof of the Nessies' existence.
Just to emphasize the context here - we're not presenting this as factual, we're presenting it as a bizarre, quirky clip/story that's gained attention in Argentina.
