A man who was a little worse for wear informed law enforcement that he was the victim of a teleportation accident.
We have heard some bizarre car accident explanations told to police officers over the years, ranging from a man who claimed that he was trying to avoid being abducted by aliens to another man who maintained that he had been teaching his dog how to drive his car.

The explanation given by the perpetrator of this latest crash, which was attended by officers in Florida earlier this month, isn't much better.

According to reports, the man - a 38-year-old - had been driving at 100mph in a stolen BMW when he lost control and crashed at Old Dixie Highway and Plantation Oaks Boulevard in Ormond Beach.
Fortunately, he only suffered minor injuries, but it became clear pretty quickly that he was in rough shape.

While attempting to explain to the cops what had happened, he maintained that he had no idea how he ended up in the car because he had been randomly teleported into the driver's seat.

He was promptly arrested and charged with grand theft of a motor vehicle and driving on a suspended license.

You can check out police camera footage of the incident below.
