Gregg Phillips bizarrely claims that he had been with his sons when they were all teleported to a Waffle House.
Phillips - a conspiracy theorist who currently heads up FEMA's office of response and recovery - has reportedly detailed his peculiar experiences during interviews on several different podcasts.
The strangeness allegedly began when he had been driving along the road in his car one day when the vehicle was inexplicably hoisted up into the air by an unseen force and moved around 40 miles.
When he looked out, he found that his car had been deposited into a ditch next to a church.
This might seem 'out there' enough, but then on a different occasion, Phillips maintained that he had been driving with his sons in the car when they had decided to visit a Waffle House.
Suddenly, without warning, the vehicle was 'teleported' approximately 50 miles to Rome, Georgia, where it allegedly re-appeared just outside a Waffle House.
"Teleporting is no fun," he told the
Onward podcast.
"You know it's happening, but you can't do anything about it, and so you just go, you just go with the ride. And wow, what just an incredible adventure it all was."
Given the bizarre nature of his claims, it's difficult to accept that any of this actually happened and it's also unclear why he would make something like this up and insist it was real, especially given the high-ranking position he currently holds.
Exactly what, if anything, actually did happen to him on these occasions remains a bit of a mystery.
