Pensioner kept mother in freezer for 30 years

A pensioner from South-East London kept the body of her deceased mother in a freezer for close to 30 years. Upon her mother's death she was thought to have panicked about getting in to trouble for having her in the country illegally.
An elderly woman stored her mother's body in a freezer for up to 30 years, it was revealed today.Daulat Irani's mother was found wrapped in bin bags and stored in a freezer in the garage of her home in Sidcup, South-East London."

All quite sad really. Looks like they might not think it was a suspicious death. But not reporting a death is a crime isn't it?

Yes I belive it is classed as a crime Didn't something similar happen a couple of years ago too? except the body wasn't kept in a freezer, it was put inside black bags and wrapped in bed sheets then put in a wardrobe I believe. It's still all very sad that it has to come to this.
