London's Natural History Museum has secured the rights to display the remains of the Loch Ness Monster should it ever be captured in exchange for verifying the creature's existence for bookmakers William Hill.
The Loch Ness monster will go on display at London’s Natural History Museum if it is caught under a deal negotiated with bookmakers William Hill.

OK, I'll bite..........What's the betting line, Mr. Hill?

Under the deal, formalised in 1987 and revealed in archive documents released by the museum, William Hill pays the museum an annual fee on return for the guarantee its experts will provide “positive identification” of the elusive creature. The agreement, which has netted the museum at least £22,000, also covers the Yeti. Wow, you have to be really sure the Monster is real in order to just throw away 22,000 pounds like that. I thought for a second that Mr. Hill was getting the money, until I read that last line, then I changed my opinion of Hill from genius to dunce.
