Little brother of giant T-rex discovered

A newly discovered predatory dinosaur has been discovered that is a perfect, miniature copy of the Tyrannosaurus rex, even though it would have lived many tens of millions of years before its giant meat-eating relative.
If the T-rex was the king of the dinosaurs, then this little fellow was the runt. The newly discovered meat hunter - who roamed the Earth tens of millions of years before Tyrannosaurus rex - is a perfect, miniature copy of its more famous and fearsome relative, except for the possible addition of a feathery mane.

That's what happens when you leave a T. Rex out in the rain.... You may adopt one as a pet.

T-rex lived 65 million years ago the last age of the dinosaurs, that is the time where the dinosaurs became extinct via the KT-event and mammals taking over. In other words Rex was the final stage of its own evolutionary Family tree, (unless you consider dinosaurs turn into birds, which I think they did), then its big brother was the chicken lol. I'm sure that birds claim ancestry from another type of dinosaur that was probably the raptor or ancestral cousin of the raptor instead of all the dinosaurs? If T-Rex survived that event, whatever it was, mainly catastrophic then it wouldn't be a T-Re... [More]

T.rex is big,so doesnt matter for its short hands, but for tinysaurus,it matters. It would be nice to hear a Big brother of T-rex discovered... If that were so, it might be in the Jurassic era, before T-Rex that we understand lived. For an even larger sized predator there would had to have been even bigger animals to hunt down first. Giganotosaurus comes close as the huge predator, larger itself than T-Rex but isn't a type of T-Rex copy.

CarcharodontosaurusGiganotosaurus Spinosaurus These predator dinosaurs are larger than T-Rex. Yes, they are bigger, but they are of different genus. We are talking about tyrannosaurids that existed before Rex. Yes ,the theropods you listed are bigger in size than that of Rex, but I don't consider them his big bros, these dinos existed way before Rex,it means that Rex is way ahead of them by millions of years of evolution...after all Rex is crowned the King of the Dinosaurs for a Reason.

No one can say, that a Big brother of T.rex never existed. It existed or not,no one knows. If a species is unearthed, then only they can say which period it existed and so on.

Yeah, but it is highly unlikely that the Rex will have another successor in my opinion..Since it lived at the last age of the dinosaurs. it looks like a horse and crocodile merged in a freak acident.
