Police worker fired for backing psychics

A victim of religious discrimination. So what? A control freak that wants to extend domination over other people using dark ages voodoo psychology? Mainstream religion or cult, its all garbage. A police state based on science is bad enough, but one based on so-called psychics is intolerable.

I think it is okay to consult psychics on cases if there does seem to be compelling reasons to do so, and especially if the investigation is at a standstill (though I doubt psychics provide any accurate useful info), but the officer pushed it - if your superiors say "No, I don't think so, ditch the mentalist", then that's what you do, it has nothing to do with religion, it has to do with chain of command and policy of professional and efficient conduct.

Wonder if somebody told him "no" about using a psychic and he went ahead and did it anyway.
