Legend has it that when Genghis Khan died in 1227 his lieutenants went to great lengths to keep his death a secret including the murder of anyone who witnessed his body, so where is his final resting place ?
According to legend, when Genghis Khan died in 1227 in what is now northern China, his lieutenants wanted to keep the death a secret from the Mongols’ enemies. So as the party accompanying his body made its way back to Mongolia, they killed every person they saw on the way - more than 20,000 - so news of the death wouldn’t spread.

As much as I would like to see Genghis found, maybe some things are better left to lie in peace.

That's some legend right there. I agree with the first commenter. This thing should be left dead forever. Stuff is old. Regards, Kimmie Ordinateur portable pas cher

Gengis Khan was so rich that sometimes when he run out of canon balls he ordered his army to bring canon balls made out of gold and it seems that people are still searching in the hope of getting his golden canon balls...People are searching the lands in which he battled for the same Thanks B???

That's a lot of spilled blood to keep one man's death a secret.

That's a lot of spilled blood to keep one man's death a secret. I agree!........you can only keep someones death hush, hush for so long.......as for his burial spot......he was probably cremated and thrown out to sea
