Talking urinals offer drink driving warnings

Image Credit: Wiki Drivers using the facilities after a night in the pub may be surprised to hear the urinal talking to them in a new campaign to curb incidents of drink driving. "Hey, listen up - that's right, I'm talking to you," the message begins. "Have you had a few drinks, maybe a few too many? Do yourself and everyone else a favour and call a cab."

Anne Readett from the Office of Highway Safety Planning defended the new devices on the basis that they have the potential to save lives. "We put a very serious message in a unique place, with a little humour," she said.
