It seems the economy is a lot like the weather, everybody complains about it but nobody does anything about it. What can one person do about the weather? Nothing! What can one person do about the economy? Again the answer is nothing. Yet people actually believed one person, our President, could fix the broken economy.
A year ago I stated the prospects of the bailout were absolute zero. I said the odds were slim and none and Slim just left town. Now a year later more people are unemployed, more banks have failed although main stream media do not talk about them, and more foreclosures have taken place. The economists tell us the economy is on the rebound even though nobody who is really paying attention can see it.
You had hope the economy would change. Alas, hope is a delusion. Detroit hoped they would make more cars and in Montana they hoped to turn coal into gas for your cars, and in California they hoped to make electric cars so we would not need gas. With so much hope why has nothing come from any of it?
The reason is because most of you have been mentally castrated. Some of you know it to be true but few have the cojones to talk about it. To this I say bullocks!
What is mental castration you might ask? It is the inability or unwillingness to think for yourself. In the case of the economy it is the unwillingness to start a business venture. Who has mentally castrated you? The government has of course, who else would have the stones?
You have been brainwashed into believing the government will fix everything so you should wait until they tell you what to do. After all the government bailed out the banking industry, the insurance industry, the housing industry and the car industry. If you discount all the government bailout programs there was no real growth in the economy. The government only bailed out the key industries that would make the numbers on Wall Street appear there was growth in the key economic sectors.
It must be true because the government said so. In Montana the coal to gas plant was not built because the government has not decided if or how much to tax the carbon the process would emit. Everyone is afraid to make a move without the government go ahead. So in the mean time the jobs are not created and funds are not invested in areas where there could be real growth because nobody will take the initative and just do what they know needs to be done.
It is almost as if these people have on thumb in their mouth and the other thumb in their rectum and they are waiting for the government to yell “switch”. Hey dude, that could really bum you out.
One person cannot change the economy, but we all can if we just do it and stop waiting for the government to fix something they cannot. Wake up people, the money matrix has you.
