Group petitions White House over UFOs

The Paradigm Research Group is petitioning the US government to disclose information about UFOs.
The group, which for years has been attempting to persuade politicians to reveal what the government knows about UFOs and extraterrestrial visitation, has attempted similar petitions before.

In 2011 a petition posted to the White House's website, which requested that the government "formally acknowledge an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race," received widespread attention and received more than 12,000 signatures.

The response however was not quite what they were hoping for:

"The U.S. government has no evidence that any life exists outside our planet, or that an extraterrestrial presence has contacted or engaged any member of the human race. In addition, there is no credible information to suggest that any evidence is being hidden from the public's eye."
Not content with this answer, the Paradigm group is now attempting to take things further by urging the government to support congressional hearings on the matter.

"There are scores of government/agency/political witnesses of rank and station prepared to testify under oath before congressional committees now about the evidence the White House states doesn't exist," they wrote.

This time the group needs 100,000 signatures before the White House will officially respond.

The official page of the petition on the White House's website can be found - here.

It does not take much research to find out that there are extraterrestrial bases on mars and the moon. Many hundreds of photograph taken by the Apollo missions and satellites around Mars prove there is or has been evidence of alien life out there. A couple of whistle blowers from the CIA and the military confirm contact has been made many years ago. The fear that the government has is if they let the cat out of the bag, admitting knowledge, anarchy would set in around the world. All traditional religions could fall by the wayside and new ones appear. What the government would like us to contin... [More]

The "We the People" petition thing, is a joke in itself. It's a failed attempt to make the citizenry think they actually have a say in anything, which we don't. If you've never been over there, at least check it out one time. Have a good laugh, or maybe even become sickened, by some of the petitions people submit. They range from the totally ridiculous to the utterly stupid, to attempts to overthrow our very rights and freedoms. No white house petition has EVER led to any fruition, Obama just has his people "acknowledge it" if it gets the required number of sigs, then they make some excuse, br... [More]

While I am unsure Congress could agree upon the time of day, I do believe NASA, ESU, RFSA, and dozens of other national and international space agencies as well as the myriad of contributing institutions of higher education are making credible research-based efforts to look for possibilities of "life" beyond the earth.

I'll sign it. I love to encourage conspiracy theorists whenever I can. Life is far more entertaining with them around.
