Four unidentified figures have been captured in a controversial video recorded through a webcam.
Originally posted to YouTube by Mary Greeley back in December, the footage, which was taken from a webcam overlooking the area near the famous geyser 'Old Faithful', failed to gain attention at the time but has picked up momentum more recently after being featured on a number of news sites and media outlets.
The video lasts around three-and-a-half minutes and begins by showing a group of buffalo wandering across the snow.
At around the 2:50 mark however four figures emerge from behind the trees in the background and walk towards the left. One emerges in to a clearing while the others remain mostly hidden.
The video, which has gained significant attention this week, is being hailed as evidence that the legendary Bigfoot not only exists but that there's more than one and that they travel in groups.
In all likelihood however the footage probably shows nothing more than a group of tourists taking in the scenery as they head towards the geysers. None of the figures appear particularly anomalous and there is little reason to suggest that they are anything other than ordinary people.
"Bigfoot sightings are not frequent, but it happens," said Yellowstone National Park spokesman Al Nash. "People say a lot of crazy things about Yellowstone all the time and bigfoot is just one of them."
I totally agree. It looks like the people's feet never leave the ground, but are dragged forward. People walking in snow would lift their feet clear of the snow and show a high stepping movement, not a smooth forward glide, like is seen. Looks more like steps than glide to me, plus I don't get an indication of ski poles. Are you allowed to ski on those paths?
Looks more like steps than glide to me, plus I don't get an indication of ski poles. Are you allowed to ski on those paths? People often show up in skis in that areas. Skis and snowshoes make it possible to travel around when the snow is deep. I agree that it appears to be more of a shuffle in snow. Remember that this is a boardwalk which sees lots of traffic. The place where the people are walking is near Giantess geyser which is one of the larger geysers to observe. There might be some fresh snow on the ground, but the boardwalk is traveled many times a day by many groups. The snow will in g... [More]
So nobody but EoT beieves this is a video of BF right? I think it could certainly be listed as a video of unidentified creatures. The quality just isn't good enough. That being said, you cannot identify it as a bigfoot. So there are much better odds of it being some of the 320 million known people in the USA than it being a group of unverified bigfeet.
The desire to not fall is instinct. Understanding how falling happens is common sense. But you are right, we are getting off topic. disagree. Off topic.

Idk if this has been posted already but National Geographic weighed in on it. http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2015/02/150210-bigfoot-science-animals-yellowstone-sasquatch-myths-culture/
Idk if this has been posted already but National Geographic weighed in on it. http://news.national...-myths-culture/ It's interesting that the expert zoologist actually thinks it could be faked and not people at all. Admittedly, he only viewed the video twice. *shrug*
Why are the cameras NEVER held still when the subject is being filmed in these videos? Everything I've ever seen in every video shows the footage leading up to seeing the Bigfoot as being always clear, sharp, smooth. We can count the individual grass blades if we were inclined to do so. But when Bigfoot "appears", the cameraman always goes nuts, suddenly juggling the camera, filming his own shoes, the ground, the tree tops, the sun. By the time he swings it back at the Bigfoot, the creature is always so far away or hidden deep enough within the forest that there's no way to get a good look at ... [More]
