Mystery roar heard across parts of Wisconsin

Residents were left baffled after hearing a strange roaring sound over a wide area on Sunday night.
The peculiar din was so loud that it rattled windows and seemed to last between one and three minutes depending on the location.

It started up at around 8:15pm on Sunday and was reported in several communities across southern Wisconsin including Albany, Evansville, Janesville, Beloit, Monticello and Milton.

Witnesses played down suggestions that it had been an airplane and there had been no thunderstorms reported in the area.

A staff member at the Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport who had also heard the noise on Sunday night revealed that there had been no planes flying through local airspace at the time.

"I heard the sound, too, and there wasn't any jets flying through or anything like that," he said. "If they would have came through our airspace, I would have seen it."

Another possibility, a meteor impact or explosion, was also ruled out by NASA's Allard Beutel who maintained that there had been no objects tracked over Wisconsin at the time of the incident and that the sound had lasted way too long to have been an object from space.

UFO author and Milton resident Ryan Skinner has also been trying to explain the event.

"This was constant tone of over two minutes with nothing lit up in the skies," he said."The only thing known to be overhead at that time was 747 going to Orlando at 12,000 feet."

"It was way too high for that noise."

That the sounds on all the videos are variations of a sound effect used in films before this "news" broke out around the world, and that all the videos are so similar in how they are captured, (couple people standing around looking up or being filmed out a window) should be our clues not to take this seriously. Now if, say, it happens during a live sporting event with cameras rolling, being broadcast on TV while the teams, thousands of spectators and the commentators are all reacting to the sound then we'd have some real evidence to consider.

Aw shucks the time for editing ran out. Not so at Mysterial.... Here is AZDZ's request searching at You Tube; "strange sounds at baseball game". My search entries were too specific where I lost time getting back to UM. So I thought to simplify the entry to get to the right spot. The deions say strange sounds heard before earthquake. https://www.youtube....s baseball game stereologist wrote: "The link you provided is a BS filled stink pot isn't it?" Nope! The sounds at the baseball game are way different than the other 9000 videos posted on youtube with "apocalyptic sounds around earth".

Thanks MrBene, I've heard that similar roar at the ball park in other videos. Maybe "They" have variations in sounds so we won't get bored with just one. Hollywood's movie with Richard Dreyfuss "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" in 1977 had a huge craft capable of loud sounds. If you have any questions about just ask Hollywood! More strange sounds with lots of variations......

Hello AZDZ, and I am a big fan of Oz's AC-DC too! You are a veteran who's heard the strange sounds. I wish I could say the same thing. Your analysis of the videos were interesting. Back in the late seventies whenever our huge power plant would shut down a giant turbine for close interior inspection. Their check for missed dust particles had the operators shoot high pressure air inside and the air exiting was shot at a target. You could hear it's hours long duration whistle-like roar for 10 miles as the crow flies. You noted: "But too bad the players and the crowd don't react. It does serve as ... [More]

I have read some ancient texts which describe these sounds as roaring and thunder in the skies. The texts correlate these sounds to layering in the atmosphere around the earth, which determine specific temperature levels and cloud heights. The layers in the atmosphere can move at different speeds, even in the opposite direction of the air above or below. This phenomenon allows the atmosphere to circulate. Without this facility, the atmosphere would not be able to circulate and it would kill the inhabitants of earth, through various means such as, an uneven distribution of carbon di oxide. The ... ^A few other mentions of noise in the bible. Jeremiah 49:21, Ezekiel 43:2, Isaiah 24:18, 2 Isaiah 25:31 Peter 3:10. Hello AZDZ, and I am a big fan of Oz's AC-DC too! Oy! You noted: "But too bad the players and the crowd don't react. It does serve as a good indicator of what at least one of the sounds heard- sounds like, so good work there. In the top video at the Tampa Bay Rays stadium. The crowd does react with applause when the sound ceases. Their faces are too distant to see them looking in all directions like I would have done in that strange game. The first video? This one... I'm not hear... [More]

^A few other mentions of noise in the bible. Jeremiah 49:21, Ezekiel 43:2, Isaiah 24:18, 2 Isaiah 25:31 Peter 3:10. I'll get our Bible opened for those verses quoted, thanks! Those finds must be very interesting! Oy! The first video? This one... I'm not hearing what you what you describe above, but yeah, this one is the best evidence of all videos I viewed. They're the greatest still on stage band from Oz, eh? Right on! I wrote what I did about the crowd applauding the end of the roar. Then I checked the Tampa Bay Rays game again and went, "Oops!" THAT applause video I'd seen and heard is out ... [More]
