An unsuspecting feline ended up being accidentally sent through the post after hiding in a box of DVDs.
The bizarre incident happened when a cat called Cookie managed to sneak inside the package without her owner's knowledge and was inadvertently sent on a 260-mile trip across the UK.

The stowaway feline was eventually rescued after eight days when the recipient found her inside the package and called the RSPCA ( Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. )
After a thorough check-up Cookie was found to be very dehydrated but otherwise alive and well.

"I feel terrible about what's happened, you know," said her owner, Julie. "I mean, I put everything in the box and I sealed it straight away, so I don't know how she managed to get in there."

"It was a miracle because she was alive, she's managed to survive that awful ordeal."

Cats love to go on an adventure, if that cat did not adventure into that box, none of this would of happened

The habit of sleeping eighteen hours a day was certainly a lifesaver.

Poor Cupcake Cats and boxes are almost made for each other. Check all boxes before mailing or disposal because you never know if kitty is inside! Glad Cupcake is back with his owner, who you can see, feels awful for what happened. Must have been a large amount of DVDs if the shipper didn't notice an additional 6 - 10 cat in on side of the box.
