Footage has surfaced online of a truck hauling what looks like a flying saucer along a US highway.
The peculiar video, which has been gaining a lot of attention on social media recently, was uploaded on to YouTube at the beginning of the month by the Argentinian channel 'Noe Arca'.

It's certainly true that the object, which is almost hanging off the back of the truck, does look like a UFO, however far from being evidence of an extraterrestrial visitor it is far more likely to be little more than an industrial component that just happens to resemble the typical flying saucer shape.

Exactly what the object actually is or what it is used for however continues to remain a mystery.

Isn't that the saucer that ALF crashed into the Tanner family's garage somewhere in the San Fernando Valley?

Looks like a prop for a UFO movie. They call them "Hero Models". The Star Trek NG show had the hero Enterprise that was used for a lot of shots. It is around 10 long and very detailed.

Thread cleaned. Keep in mind that this story was intended to be a light-hearted piece - obviously this isn't an actual 'UFO' - it's likely to be an industrial component (as suggested in the article) or, failing that, it could be a prop from a movie or something similar. The video has certainly gained a lot of attention online so it would be interesting to find out what the object actually is.

Obviously a deleted scene from Flight of the Navigator. This should end the discussion.

That might have made for an interesting video. It could have appeared on one of those "Crash & Fail Compilations".

It would be comical if it clip the overpass and knocked it of the truck and rolled down the highway. Then would have to call it URO. Unidentified Rolling Object.

Astonishing footage? how about a prop for a film?  Anyway, funny footage, and I would be disappointed with any human who thought it a real UFO....
