Shoppers in Thailand were left terrified when the huge reptile took up residence inside the shop.
Long queues and empty shelves are about the worst problems that most of us will ever encounter when visiting the supermarket, but for shoppers visiting a grocery store in Thailand recently there was something far more sinister waiting to greet them when they walked through the door.
Footage uploaded online of the incident shows how the huge monitor lizard had stood guard at the entrance while brave employees tried to shoo it outside using cardboard signs.
Terrified shoppers attempting to enter the shop ended up standing back in surprise as the creature was gradually coaxed back out through the door and in to the store's car park.
The video, which was filmed in Ban Khlong Nung, can be viewed below.
"Giant" lizard. Heh. Refused to leave because he was there to buy stuff. What a bunch of bigots, forcing him out of the store because they don't like the way he looks. Doesn't his money spend exactly as everyone else's?
“Mark, are the allegations true that you’re secretly a lizard? Um... I’m gonna, I’m gonna have to go with ‘no’ on that. I am not a lizard,” Zuckerberg said seeming oddly nervous
Those are faked videos. Alligators obviously don't move like that, it's CG. (sorry, a throw back to the idiocy in a thread about the alligator on a golf course in Florida)
