Cops chase UFO in bizarre low-speed pursuit

Image: AI-generated (Midjourney) The peculiar incident, which took place in Gorey, County Wexford, saw a police car with its sirens blaring gingerly pursuing a small metallic flying saucer through the town's narrow streets.

Far from being a visitor from outer space however the UFO was actually the work of local artist Ali Kemal Ali who had built the contraption for a youth and arts festival.

He had even managed to get the police involved to help drum up interest for the event."They loved it," he said. "They were brilliant. How often do you go into a police station and ask for something like this - it's always doom and gloom. They saw the funny side of it."

Footage of the chase, which was uploaded on to Facebook, has been viewed over a million times.
