Police release footage of 'UFO' during storm

What is this thing ? Image Credit: Facebook / Broome Police The footage, which was recorded in Kimberley District, Western Australia during a thunderstorm, shows an illuminated circular object that briefly appears in the sky, moves and then fades away.

"After reviewing CCTV at town beach of last nights storm, it appears we were not alone," officers with the Western Australia Police Force wrote on Facebook.

But could this really be an otherworldly visitor or is something else going on ?

If you look closely at the bottom right of the frame, you can see a car moving off in perfect sync with the light in the sky. It is likely that the 'UFO' is actually the lens flare from the car's headlights.
