Nick Pope: 'UFOs have now gone mainstream'

The former UFO investigator for the Ministry of Defense argues that UFOs are no longer a fringe topic.
Pope, who investigated countless UFO reports for the MoD between 1985 and 2006, is certainly no stranger to the subject and remains very open-minded about the possibility of alien visitation.

In a recent article written for the New York Post, Pope outlines why he believes that UFOs, far from being the domain of fringe conspiracy theorists, may have finally entered in to the mainstream.

In particular, he references the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP) - the Pentagon's own UFO research initiative that ran in secret from 2007 to 2012.
The program was initiated by then U.S. Senator Harry Reid - himself a vocal proponent of UFOs.

More recently, the revelation that multiple US Navy pilots have witnessed unidentified objects flying at impossible speeds - coupled with the US Navy's move to standardize UFO reporting - seems to indicate that UFOs are something that the US government takes very seriously.

"It's difficult to avoid the conclusion that there's a bigger picture here," Pope concludes. "The pace of events is picking up, and we seem to be building up to something."

"Something is happening. Something new. Something big."

nick pope earns a nice little bundle at this.... it's the likes of nick bloody pope who keep this BS fueled with nothing more than stories that some believe without real evidence & facts. people like nick bloody pope cannot produce facts, never have done- just books, tv interviews/ documentaries & lectures on nothing! i can do something the likes of nick pope have failed to do for the past 80+ years: produce a fact! here it is===== there are NO FACTS-- that's a fact! case rested

UFOs went mainstream? hum, ive noticed a lot of ufologists pope might be one earning a living off the subject had to gear things up a bit, prosiac doesnt sell, thats nothing new the "mainstream" isnt much into jumping "its a UFO it must be aliens," it sounds too silly , we have the fringe who think every UFO is an alien craft but they are very much minority, sure a lot is happening, all kinds of new flying toys so that means all kinds of wild flying secret weapons that you want to know what your enemy's have without them learning what you have.

The politically correct term is UAP, Unidentified Aerial Phenomena, UFO having such negative connotations. If there's something there unknown to science, I 'm more than willing to be persuaded with hard evidence...………..(crickets chirping then silence...…..a door slams, somewhere.)
