Panther strikes up unlikely friendship with Rottweiler

The young panther - who goes by the name Luna - was born to a travelling zoo, however when her mother rejected the youngster, the zoo found themselves unable to look after her.

When an animal lover named Victoria started visiting the zoo to care for the young cat, therefore, she was eventually given the opportunity to take Luna home with her, which she ultimately did.The panther quickly struck up a friendship with Victoria's Rottweiler, Venza, and the two have been inseparable ever since, with millions of subscribers following their antics on YouTube and Instagram.

Fans who frequent their social media accounts have delighted in viewing photographs and videos of the pair dressed up for Halloween, rolling about in the snow or frolicking around together in the woods.

"Venza in fact thought that Luna was her cub," said Victoria.

"As soon as the dog saw the panther she started licking her fur, they bonded instantly."
