Pentagon draws up plans to reverse-engineer UFOs

New defense legislation plans have also called for the introduction of a rapid response team to investigate UFO reports.
It might sound like something out of the 'X-Com' video game series, yet these latest proposals are in fact the real deal and call, not only for the rapid investigation of UFO cases, but also for any recovered technology to be reverse-engineered.

The proposals, which were included in the text of the annual defense authorization bill, outline the formation of teams of intelligence experts who would be called out to investigate cases of military UFO sightings.

Such investigations will include collecting and analyzing data about the encounter as well as recovering any materials that happen to have been found in conjunction with the sighting.
The bill goes ever further than this, stipulating that Pentagon officials must also work together with the scientific community to understand any object that exceeds the "known state of the art in science or technology."

There are even plans to "replicate any such advanced characteristics and performance", or in other words, to reverse-engineer it.

"Protecting our national security interests means knowing who and what are flying in US airspace," said Rep. Ruben Gallego.

"Right now, our system of tracking and identifying UAPs is scattered throughout the Department of Defense and other departments and agencies of the federal government."

yes, I agree, we need more than lip service. "show me the money,, honey". And right about now, I really don't know whether to believe them or not, - on this issue, anyway

ya, I really blew that by not making it clear. what I mean is, what does the *government* have to gain by manufacturing the story, not the metal? Nada

Well, actually, one thing they have gained it they can say that disclosure happened.  They didn't disclose anything really, but they opened the door.   And that door might be useful in future if they want to create a false flag event throw us into more fear so they have more control.   There are all sorts of possibilities.

As far back as the 1987 Americas Cup there was talk of coating hulls of vessels to reduce friction.  The gel coating falls within the definition of a metamaterial. Metamaterial is cool sounding word, but it doesn't come from ET.

Very creative idea you have and I'm glad I floated the question. So far I don' see them using fear. Note the sightings they speak of are out to sea, not over our land. But, I watch them very closely. Nice up, DR.

Many materials/inventions have been ascribed to ET, yet when looking at the typically very well documented development history of said, all points to an Earthly origin by really dedicated scientist and engineers.    I could give several examples just here on this very forum where the ET origin claim was floated, yet when looking at the actual development process in each case it was an arduous and very human invention.    Cheers, Badeskov Just one example of such:

I wouldn't even bother. Just looking at the linked "article" and website I can see a UFO fanatic brandishing fake documents produced by TTSA and that crew of clowns.

Right, they haven't mentioned the ones on land, or at least we have not been given that information.  The whole document has not been released to the public, just snippits to keep us quiet.

you're going to love this article. it discusses exactly what you and I do here.  disclosure or deception " WASHINGTON — The U.S. government is finally getting back into the UFO business. And depending on which UFO believer you ask, it's either a historic step forward to getting to the bottom of conspiracies or a ploy to regain control of the narrative — and possibly even prepare for interplanetary war.

yes, they told us that the documents they have would be declassified, aka, available to the public. hmmm....
