Baba Vanga's predictions for 2022 revealed

The blind mystic made several notable predictions for the next twelve months - and none of them are good.
Vanga, who was born in Bulgaria in 1911 and died in 1996 aged 85, spent most of her life in the Kozhuh mountains and was renowned the world over for her prophetic predictions about the future.

While a great deal of skepticism has always surrounded the accuracy of these predictions, many people remain adamant that she had successfully foretold a wide range of major global events.

For the upcoming twelve months, she made six notable predictions:

1. There will be water shortages
A shortage of water in many countries will generate political problems as governments struggle to secure access to additional supplies.
2. Virtual reality takeover
This prediction, which suggests that people will become hopelessly glued to their computer screens, seems to have been interpreted as more to do with general computer/Internet use than genuine 'virtual reality' which is something that Baba Vanga would not have known about. It could also be argued that this has already come to pass, at least to some extent.

3. Locust swarm in India
Vanga reportedly predicted that India will be subjected to soaring temperatures and a devastating swarm of locusts at some point over the next twelve months.

4. Aliens will arrive on Earth
This one seems by far the most 'out there' of all her predictions and it's something that we've heard before numerous times; it seems that this is highly unlikely to come to pass in 2022.

5. Another virus
Most would interpret this as a prediction of another Covid-19 variant, however Vanga reportedly mentioned a virus being released from the Siberian permafrost due to global warming.

6. More catastrophes
A general prediction about flooding, earthquakes and tsunamis.

Hello Helen. I just drew a humorous parallel with Uri Geller, who also envisions a contact with the aliens 2022.

I knew it was about Geller, the most famous of all spoonbenders   but I didn't know he thinks aliens would be noticed in the mess we're all in

Don’t we get the virus from permafrost prediction every year/couple of years? I’m sure I’ve heard it before.

Why not combine the 'virus' one and 'aliens visit Earth' one? Aliens visit Earth and bring a virus that infects the planet. There we go, combined two into one. Water shortages is already an issue in some areas that cause local conflict. This is the most likely of all imo. As for locust swarms, there was one a few years ago on the border of China that lead the Chinese to launch an army of tens of thousands of ducks to eat the locust. There is Metaversa regarding VR. If aliens arrive,  lets hope they can assist with all the other problems she predicted.

One thing she didn't predicted was her ability to make predictions from the grave every year.

Reminds me of a forum member who attempts to do the exact same thing.

He's one hell of a lot more annoying than an old blind woman.  The efforts to make a connection between some obscure point made in a previous post and some current tragedy is damned near pathological.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0066769/ Well, the contagion came from a satellite crashing into earth but, the story's been told

And there we go with another round of laughs.Predictions are funny. They rarely ever work out unless they are guaranteed such as: A riot in a major city A fire in a major city A horrendous natural disaster People head to religion to answer their questions Let's face it these are lame predictions
