The peculiar advert recently took pride and place in Toronto's busy Yonge and Dundas Square.
What do you do when you move into your new home and find that the previous occupant has left a solitary cheese string in the refrigerator ?

While most people would likely have thrown it in the trash, Angel Domingo decided that the best thing to do with the cheese string was to find someone else willing to trade for it.

To this end, he spent a rather large sum of money renting out an enormous billboard in the middle of Toronto to promote the fact that the cheese string was available for trade.

The move quickly went viral, with hundreds of people phoning him up to make offers and multiple news outlets getting in touch to determine the story behind the peculiar stunt.
"This is probably the strangest thing that I've ever had to had to offer up," he said.

"Somebody told me that I wouldn't get anything for it and nobody would want it, but I guess some people really want it. (I've received) a lot of offers."

"I think the most anybody had to offer me was two Persian cats."

So far, however, he has yet to accept any of the offers.
