Two Bigfoot sightings reported in South Carolina this summer

Two separate sightings of the elusive Sasquatch were recently submitted to the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization.
Something strange is roaming the wilderness of South Carolina, at least, that is, if these two witness reports - both involving encounters that occurred over the summer - are to be believed.

The first, which occurred on July 5th, was reported by a forestry worker who had driven out to a remote part of York County to investigate a power line cut at around 2pm.

He thought something was up when he came across a strange depression in the grass, as though a large animal had been lying there, as well as a very strong, foul smell.

He then heard what sounded like something large knocking on a tree trunk a short distance away, followed by a correlating series of knocks on another tree trunk in the opposite direction.

Could he have stumbled upon two Bigfoots communicating with one another ?
The second report, which occurred in Beaufort County on August 2nd, saw a family drive out to visit the lighthouse at Hunting Island State Park when they encountered something unexpected.

They had been driving along the exit road at around noon when they spotted a creature walking upright along the side of the road which promptly disappeared into the foliage.

"The height of the creature is estimated as being between 5 to 6 feet tall," the report states.

"Legs were approximately 3 feet long, human like jointed knee, with dark brown, splotchy black hair that was approximately 2 inches long."

All three passengers witnessed the same thing and were unable to explain what it was. They even reported it to the Hunting Island State Park office and were told that an investigation would be initiated.

Whether their experience was ever actually looked into, however, remains unclear.

There's a forest service road near the retirement property where you can sometimes give a wolf howl and have it returned; it is unclear however whether it's a an actual wolf or a human smart-ass.

At this point with the still complete and total lack of evidence to support bigfoot its safe to include a dork in a costume in the list and that is divided into sub groups like a deliberate hoaxer or a hunter in a ghilli suit. As cynical and skeptical as i am i do not subscribe that most claims of BF,  ghosts aliens whatever come out of nowhere or delusions, drugs, drinking etc but rather there is a stimulus then the witness might go with a respectable admission they dont know what the devil they saw or the jokers who know it wasnt anything but want to look cool and bs and embellish then the ... Don't forget the guy in the homemade racoon suit that was doing shamanic rituals when mistaken for a BF. The funny part of the story was that the BF spotters were testing BF lure perfume at the time

He was with a buddy who was trying for that same look idea,  i guess in there 60s a typical impersonator, here we get at least one at almost any car show, I saw this guy before buying hair dye but it was an obvious wig.
