The 57-year-old ended up in hot water after hacking NASA's computers where he claimed to have found evidence of UFOs.
McKinnon, who suffers from Asperger's Syndrome, became the focus of a trans-Atlantic legal battle when he was caught hacking into NASA files in an effort to find evidence of UFOs back in 2002.

At the time, the US had wanted to extradite him from the UK to face trial for his crimes - a move which would have likely seen him sentenced to as many as 70 years in prison.

After a great deal of legal wrangling, however, the extradition order was blocked by the UK.

These days McKinnon keeps a low profile, however he does still speak out about what happened and in particular, exactly what it was he found while browsing through sensitive government files.
More recently, he has criticized NASA's claim that it had found no evidence of alien visitors because he believes that he had actually found such evidence himself in the space agency's systems during the hack.

"As usual, they said nothing, on balance," he said. "And when pressed they just repeated their non-committal statement."

"We'll never get any truth from military institutions, which NASA is, regardless of the fact that it pretends to be a civilian institution."

McKinnon maintains that he found a photograph of a strange cigar-shaped craft on NASA's computers, as well as satellite images and lists of 'non-terrestrial officers'.

"It's a fact that there are objects we don't understand flying around in our skies, it's also a fact that there are scientific, intelligence and military departments that study these objects," he said at the time.

When this first happened there was a picture of a strange off-world looking base shared as part of the ufo evidence. I recognised it as i had already found it in my own digging. It was actually the entrance to a restricted antarctic base. Probably a very likely place to find unconventional secretive aircraft. Though it would be very nice and clear a lot of things up if the goverment had some accountability and still had working checks and balances so that people could at the very least be aware what sort of programs are being run with thier tax dollars. Shamefully as we are seeing with the cla... [More]

Pretty sure he saw things he shouldn't have.  Not going to bother with what they could be.

Ridiculing today is like how the Catholic church used to burn people at the stake for believes that didn't conform with church ideology. It's a way to get people to stop talking about it.

Here. I'll demonstrate how you can learn a lor from body language. It seems to me, Bob Lazar had some pretty outlandish leaks himself, with his element 115 and tales of Area 51. Did the US government go after him and land him in prison? No....? how come??? Now we see the US government doing what it can to bring justice to the exiled Gary McKinnon for pretty much the same thing, leaking sensitive government data.  What does that tell you? It tells me that Lazar is a faker, and that McKinnon distributed a lot of actual classified information. Easy peazee

I’ll bite. What has Epstein got to do with UFOs and Antarctic bases?

The connection is the topic secret government bases and the lack of oversight going on in them. We do know Epstein worked for the cia and had an island facility. Due to personal reasonsf i believe that that breaches of human rights and trafficking happen at sub accessible underwater high clearance government facilities that wouldn't if there were oversight. I mean isn't it obvious why this story was wiped from the news? Epstein was just a pawn. The agency behind the recruitment is above the law, so of course they weren't going to get exposed that easily. That's why everyone knew he would be ki... [More]
