This remote Rhode Island house has been home to all manner of unexplained occurrences over the years.
Situated in Harrisville, this infamous abode was once home to the Perron family whose experiences, along with the subsequent investigation by Ed and Lorraine Warren, would go on to inspire the 2013 James Wan movie The Conjuring which itself spawned a number of sequels and spin-offs.
The story goes that a witch had cursed the property, dooming anyone who lived there.
During the 1970s, the Perrons were plagued by paranormal incidents and unexplained occurrences which reportedly became increasingly sinister and threatening as time went on.
After they moved out in 1980, the house changed hands a number of times.
Most recently, it was purchased by the Heinzen family in 2019 and then, after going on sale yet again in 2021, it was bought for $1.5 million by a developer who wanted to open it up to the public.
True to their word, the house has since hosted a number of paranormal events and later this month on New Year's Eve it will be inviting visitors to conduct their own paranormal investigations there.
Hosted by investigator Monique Toosoon alongside author and clairvoyant Sam Baltrusis, the event will even see participants spending the night in the hope of experiencing something supernatural.
