Veteran police officer films mystery object over Connecticut

What did Klein see that night ? Image Credit: YouTube / NewsNation Klein, who has been with the police force for more than 25 years, had been on a routine night shift when he observed something strange in the sky near a reservoir in Connecticut's Fairfield County.

He described the object, which was hovering 30ft above his car, as being the size of a Mini Cooper.

It cycled through several colors - red, green, white and orange - and had a 'plasma-like' quality.

"I've seen my fair share of drones and meteors," he said during an interview with NewsNation."This was something I've never come across before."

"There was a really strong light. It lit up the entire cab of my cruiser to the point where I was having a hard time driving because I really couldn't see. I was blinded by it."

He quickly decided to stop, grab his camera and record some footage.

"It gave off a low hum, which was very distinct," he recalled.
