Something large appeared to be lurking just beneath the surface of the loch back in September.
Captured on the webcam overlooking the water next to the Clansman Hotel on the northern banks of Scotland's iconic loch by veteran Nessie spotter Eoin O Faodhagain, the unusual disturbance was visible at around 6:57pm on September 23rd.

Estimated to be approximately 17ft in length, the object - whatever it was - seemed to be lurking just beneath the surface for a period of around two minutes before disappearing again into the depths.

No boats had been passing at the time and there was no other apparent activity in the water.

"I saw a large creature, brown-black in color, just breaking the surface, creating a strange circular movement," said O Faodhagain.
"I was puzzled, wondering what this spectacle was that was unfolding in front of my eyes on the surface of the loch."

"I had never seen movement like this before - it was very strange and fascinating."

So what could the disturbance have been ?

You can watch the webcam footage for yourself below.

Isnt it time to put the whole Nessie thing to bed already? Its been milked for tourists and headlines for decades. Every ripple, wave, or drifting log gets turned into a monster sighting. The only thing really lurking in that loch is the local economys need for attention.

Person who believes in the creature sees something they immediately attribute to the creature? Shocked, shocked I say.

If you were not seeded with the idea that you will be looking at a possible loch ness creature, you would never guess what it is, or supposed to be. I didn't see this thing move enough to convince me it us live. who knows what the heck that is.
