One of the more intriguing inclusions in the latest batch of files shows an alleged encounter with an unidentified object.
The incident, which took place over Lake Huron, Michigan in 2023, begins by showing what appears to be some sort of balloon-like object being shot out of the sky by an F-16 fighter jet.
A few seconds later, an unidentified white object shows up to the right of the crosshairs and continues to be tracked for several seconds.
After a while, it disappears, leaving no explanation as to what it could have been.
The clip raises several questions - what was the 'balloon' that was shot down, why was it shot down and what was the nature of the second object that appeared afterward ?
The description on the video reads:
"USAF ANG F-16C [CALLSIGN] Shoots Down UAP over Lake Huron with [Weapon System], 12 Feb 2023."
"At the 11-second mark, the sensor focuses on an area of contrast in the center of its field-of-view."
"At the 20-second mark, the footage appears to depict a kinetic interaction between two distinct areas of contrast, with the initial subject of the footage fragmenting in a radial displacement pattern that suggests a high-energy event."
