My ball lightning story

Image Credit: Marie Mela / YouTube / Viral MTV I've read several stories about ball lightning on various paranormal sites, and I'd like to share my own. From the descriptions people have given, a glowing ball of light that moves silently, I'm sure that this is what we saw.

This happened sometime in the 1980s, when my husband, T, and I were visiting my relatives in a small town in north-western Pennsylvania. We were at the home of my cousin J and his wife R. We were sitting in the living room, talking and playing with their cats. A thunderstorm had come up, and there was lots of thunder and lightning. The room had a window on both walls, right across from one another. All of a sudden, there was a flash of lightning right outside, and a second later, this glowing yellowish-white ball of light came floating in one window, across the room, and out the other! We were all like 'What the heck was that?' There was no burn marks on either window. I've never forgotten that. Years later I heard about something called ball lightning, and figured that had to be what it was.

Incidentally, I'd like to state that I think ball lightning is more a natural phenomenon than paranormal, but it is fascinating and mysterious.
