Footage recorded by a wildlife camera in Tennessee shows two whitetail bucks slapping each other silly.
The bizarre clip, which has since gone viral online, was filmed earlier this month in Hardeman County by Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency officers Amy and Bubba Spencer.
According to wildlife officials, such altercations can happen at this time of year because the animals' antlers are still growing in and are too sensitive to use for fighting.
While the peculiar display of fisticuffs might not seem to be achieving much, the deers' hooves are actually quite sharp and can do a lot of damage if they happen to strike a vulnerable spot.
Dubbed 'Battle of the Bambis', the video has so far managed to rack up over 200,000 views.
Well if Reindeer can have games, why not regular deer! I've seen a video like this years ago. Maybe on Wild Kingdom. Evidently the Stags wanted the same Doe. Regardless how funny being the object of love of a wild animal is in retrospect. At the time it ain't fun at all! Being leg-humped by a dog is bad enough much less something bigger.
