The HAL suit has been around for awhile now, only sold in Japan for the rich mainly. I remembering reading an article about roughly 2 years ago how a man with leg disability used the suit to hike up a mountain-forget which either Everest or Fuji. At the time they were considering mass production but I guess they finally decided to go mainstream with it. The US army has something kinda similar to this but not as "sophisticated" or nice looking as this one.

The U.S military has already developed exosuits so soldiers can carry way more then normal. They also have robot dogs to carry ammo and supplies into dangerous territory

It's an amazing piece of technology for those who truly need it, but i can't shake the feeling that it will somehow sneak into military useage as well in the near future. wouldn't surprise me none. but it's awesome either way. and to just think I was talking about this yesterday before I read this article about how cool this would be if used in the right way.
