Goldfish survives being flushed down loo

An unfortunate goldfish who was flushed down the toilet after its owner decided that it was on its last legs miraculously survived the trip through the waste system and was eventually rescued by sewage plant workers.
A goldfish which survived being flushed down the lavatory is enjoying a new lease of life today after being rescued from a sewage plant near East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire.
