in 20 years ? Yeah Right . collect energy is easy . beam is easy the problem left ? 1. storage for energy . able to store energy that big enough to create beam from space to earth 2. precision .

This is not a new idea. Sci-Fi books have used this idea for almost as long as there have been satalites. I've liked this idea for about 20 years. We should have been able to get this going a long time ago. Microwave beam will be good, as it can be made into a fine beam at the source and be a wide beam at the pickup station, so that the energy would not be dangerous to most creatures, including people, that fly though it. Another plan is to turn the back side of the Moon into a solar collector and beam the power back to Earth.
